Agreeing to these terms

By using the Silent Era app or silentera.app, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Silent Era. You must be at least 16 to use it.

Not therapy or medical advice

Silent Era, including Pip and Talk to Pip, offers general self-help support. It is not a therapist, doctor or crisis service, and it doesn't diagnose or treat anything. Pip's replies are written by AI and can be wrong. If you are thinking about harming yourself or others, contact local emergency services or a crisis line right away.

Your account

You're responsible for your device and account. Your journal and notes sync to your account unless you keep them on your device only; in that case, deleting the app deletes them permanently.

Silent Era Pro and the free trial

• Pro is a subscription billed through the App Store or Google Play at the price shown before you buy.
• It renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Manage or cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel it.
• Pro comes as a yearly, monthly or weekly plan. The 7-day free trial is only on the yearly plan, once per person. If you don't cancel before it ends, it becomes a paid yearly subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
• If Pro ends, Pro-only scenes and items are no longer available.

Yuzus and items

Yuzus are an in-app reward with no cash value. They can't be sold, transferred or exchanged for money.

Community and support circle

When you post, comment, or send a cheer, you agree not to:

• harass, threaten or bully anyone;
• name, expose or share private information about anyone, including an ex;
• post spam, scams, or illegal or sexual content;
• pretend to be someone else.

We may hide or remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules. You keep ownership of what you post and give us permission to show it in Silent Era. Only share invite codes with people you trust; you can revoke them anytime.

Our app

Silent Era, Pip, the art and the design belong to us. You may use the app for your own personal use; please don't copy, resell or reverse-engineer it.

Changes and ending

We may update Silent Era and these terms. If we make important changes, we'll let you know in the app. You can stop using Silent Era and delete your account at any time.

Limits of our responsibility

Silent Era is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't responsible for indirect losses, or for decisions you make based on the app, including contacting or not contacting anyone. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law.
